I teach: English

In this ed-lesson I will be teaching basic English for communication purposes to adults and children who want to learn English language. And everyone that want to improve their English grammar and vocabulary.

I will be teaching pronunciation and English for conversations purposes.

I believe that a 'good lesson plan' should consist of the following component:

Timing: it's very important for the lesson plan to have duration in order to know what time you to start and to end and to make sure you are able to manage time.

Name of the learner: It's important o have a leaner name on your lesson plan I order to know which learner are you going to teach.

Lesson objectives: It's important o know the objectives of the lesson , basic competence, Topic, a good lesson plan must have a topic of what is going to be focused that day. introduction, an introduction of the topic must come with asking learners prior knowledge.

Content: This is the main aim of the lesson what the teacher prepared to teacher learners.

Assessment: A lesson must have activities to be done and must be marked and learners must get feedback for those activities.

Materials: Learners learn best when looking at pictures, a good lesson must have clear pictures to illustrate what the teacher is teaching, materials must be shown in a correct way step by step.

Conclusion: A lesson plan must have a conclusion to conclude what you were teaching in a lesson, as a teacher I give my homework when making a conclusion and reflection, teacher need to reflect on what how the lesson went and evaluate herself if learners were following and do they understand.

Will be using songs to make learning easier.

Will create visual diagrams to illustrations new vocabularies.

Use of devices to get correct pronunciation and meanings of words.

Will be using teacher and learner centered approach.

I have been a primary teacher, teaching in English as a medium of instruction for over two years.

I have two qualification a Diploma in pre/junior primary and a Bachelor degree in pre/junior primary Honours.
