Academic Award & Distinction Received Top 1% in the National Biology Competition Extremely High in Ranking & Grades (95%+) ;Guaranteed Mark Boost! I am ALWAYS here to help!
Hi! My name is Ryan and I am a tutor who loves making math and science way less intimidating. I know how overwhelming formulas, equations, and big concepts can feel, so my goal is to break them down into something clear, simple, and (believe it or not) even a little fun.
I can, but don’t just teach for tests; I want students to really understand what’s going on, build confidence, and maybe even start enjoying the subjects they used to fear. I adapt every lesson to the student: some people learn best by visuals, some by practice, some by real-life examples. We’ll figure out what works for you!
At the end of the day, my job isn’t just to help you pass… it’s to help you excel.

1) Actually understand the concepts instead of memorizing and forgetting them.
2) Feel more confident walking into tests, and also knowing how to tackle tough questions.
3) Improve your grades (and yes, I do guarantee progress if you put in the effort)!
4) Pick up problem-solving tricks that work across all subjects, not just one class/course.
I typically like to keep my sessions interactive and easy to follow for both the students and myself. Here could be a few of them’
I start by figuring out what you already know and where you’re getting stuck.
Then I explain things step by step; no skipping, no rushing.
We will work through examples together before you try some on your own.
I can (not needed) show you shortcuts and strategies that saves time (especially for tests).
And to make the lesson engaging, I will always make space for questions, even the “silly” ones (because they’re never silly).
Basically, I don’t just throw information at you—I make sure you actually get it. Never feel bad to ask questions!!
I’ve always been that “nerd” who enjoys math and science 😅. I’ve kept high grades in all my courses through high school (Grades 9–12), with an average of 96+ for every course while also being active in band and working as a Tech Coach at school; so I know how to balance academics with everything else going on.
I’ve tutored and tutoring classmates and younger students, and I’ve seen how much a good explanation can change someone’s confidence. I understand what it’s like to feel stuck, and I know how to guide students out of that frustration.
I tutor all sciences and math for Grades 5–12. Here are some contents I have listed below:
Math:
Algebra (equations, polynomials, etc.)
Functions and graphing
Geometry & trigonometry
Calculus (for advanced learners)
Advanced Functions
Science:
Physics (motion, forces, energy, electricity, waves, etc.)
Chemistry (atoms, bonding, reactions, acids/bases, organic chemistry)
Biology (cells, genetics, ecology, human systems, evolution)
Other support:
Homework help
Test and exam prep
Study strategies and habits
Going ahead of the curriculum if you want a challenge and push forward!
Every student’s needs are different, so I build lessons that fit best for you! It is not just a one-size-fits-all plan.
